How the Gay Marriage Debate Caused a C.E.O. to Lose His Job

What an intriguing article, written by James Surowiecki of The New Yorker recently. Brendan Eich, C.E.O. of Mozilla (the creators of software such as Mozilla Firefox), donated $1,000 back in 2008 supporting a political party's push to ban same-sex marriages. This has led him into hot water and after two weeks at the helm, has stood down from Mozilla.

You can read the article here:
How Mozilla Lost its C.E.O.

What are your thoughts? Is the public pressure to stand down justified?

Is not someone entitled to a view, even if someone disagrees with it?
